FRAMINGHAM — The United Way of Tri-County recently announced that nominations are being accepted for the 2019 ATHENA Leadership Award.
The award will be awarded to a prominent leader in the MetroWest region who has volunteered to assist women or girls in achieving their full leadership potential outside of their daily job responsibilities.
“It gives us great pleasure to honor these exceptional leaders and community advocates who have worked hard to advance the status of women in the MetroWest community,” said Paul Mina, president & CEO of United Way of Tri-County.
Nominations must be received by Oct. 19. The nomination form, which includes award criteria, is available on UWTC’s website, https://www.uwotc.org/AthenaNomination. Nominators should complete the form in its entirety. Nominees will be reviewed by a five-member committee.
