What is your role at Call2Talk? I am the Volunteer Coordinator at Call2Talk.
What is a typical day like for you at Call2Talk?
I provide support to the wonderful volunteers at Call2Talk. This includes debriefing after challenging calls and answering any questions they may have. Additionally, I assist with data collection, administrative office tasks, highlighting volunteer strengths and engaging with those interested in learning more about the program.
What is your favorite part of working for Call2Talk?
My favorite part about working for Call2Talk is being part of such a positive community of kind and authentic people who go out of their way to help others. I also enjoy meeting interested volunteers and being a part of the training team.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, 3 cats, 1 dog, and 1 lizard. I also enjoy hiking in warm weather, reading and watching the Boston Celtics.
Do you do something to give back to your community? If so, can you tell us about it?
I just finished my MA in Counseling at Framingham State. I do not currently volunteer within my community, but would love to become involved with animal shelters looking for support.
